Wanna buy me a coffee? :)How to Choose Colors to Flatter Your Skin Tone
By an eHow Contributor
An important part of choosing the right colors for your wardrobe is to pick the ones that flatter your skin tone. Below are tips on what colors to choose and which ones to stay away from
Instructions
Determine Your Skin Tone
1: Decide which season most accurately describes your complexion. People – and skin tones – can be divided into “seasons,” depending on their skin tone.
2: “Winter” complexions have blue or pink undertones. Skin can be pale white, yellowish-olive, or dark. Winter people are generally brunettes, with deeply colored eyes. Many Asians and African Americans fall into this category
3: “Summer” complexions, like winter complexions, have blue or pink undertones. Skin is pale and pink. Summers are often natural blondes or brunettes with pale eyes.
4: “Autumn“: Autumn complexions have golden undertones. Many redheads and brunettes with golden brown eyes fall into this category.
5: “Spring“: Spring complexions have golden undertones and are usually creamy white or peach. Spring people generally have straw-colored or strawberry red hair, freckles, rosy cheeks, and blue or green eyes.
Choose Clothes to Flatter Your Skin Tone
1: “Winter“: Winters should wear colors that are sharp, stark and clear. White, black, navy blue, red and shocking pink all go well with winter complexions. For lighter colors, wear icy tones rather than pastels. Avoid subdued tones like beige, orange and gold.
2: “Summer“: Summers should choose pastels and soft neutrals with rose and blue undertones. Lavender, plum, rose-brown and soft blue suit summers well while black and orange do not.
3: “Autumn“: Autumns should select colors with golden undertones, like camel, beige, orange, gold and dark brown. Avoid colors with blue tones, like navy.
4: “Spring“: Springs can wear warm colors like camel, peach, golden yellow and golden brown. Avoid dark, dull colors.
Tips & Warnings
It is often difficult to discriminate summer from winter, and autumn from spring. Remember that winters are usually brunettes while summers can be natural blondes. Springs tend to have pale eyes while autumns have dark eyes.
How to Dress Men Well for Cheap
By Maggie McCormick, eHow Contributor
If you believe that the clothes really do make the man, then you know how expensive it can be to dress well. Purchasing quality clothes that look good at a price you can afford is an art form. You need to know what works and what doesn’t. With careful attention to your current wardrobe, you’ll be able to supplement it and dress well without spending a lot of money.
Instructions:
1. Assess your current wardrobe. When you’re on a limited budget, you need to make do with what you have and only buy the things that you really need. As you go through your closet, note how many of each item you have and in what colors. It will then become obvious that you need certain items
2. Shop at thrift stores. You can get great deals by going to your local thrift store. If you live in a large city, though, there is more competition for the good clothes. Drive to a more out-of-the-way thrift store to find even better deals.
3. Focus on classic pieces in neutral colors. Doing so allows you to easily mix and match your clothes and wear them for a long time. You don’t want your clothes to look dated.
4. Buy clothes at the end of the season. If your weight doesn’t fluctuate much, you can get great deals when stores are trying to get rid of clothes to make room for the new season’s styles. Buy during a sale and save them for next year.
5. Alter your clothes to fit well. One of the keys to dressing well is to have clothes that fit your body. For some people, off the rack clothes end up looking sloppy. For a few dollars, a tailor can work with your clothes to make them fit better. This is great for when you find a cheap suit at a thrift store that is just a bit too big.
Tips & Warnings:
- Before you buy something, think about whether you really need it. Even if you get a great deal on an item, you’ve wasted your money if you never wear it.

Wanna buy me a coffee? :)Dressing on a Budget for Your Wedding Day
By Carla Marie
There are many different ways that can help you out when you are staying in a strict budget. With creativity and a plan, you will be able to find the perfect wedding dress of your dreams, without having to spend a fortune. I am going to give you some different options that should help you be able to find you a dress that is under or right at your budget that you had originally planned.
1. My first option that you could go with is that you wear a dress from your family heirloom. In some families, this has always been a tradition through the years and actually, you see this happen more and more these days. Brides are looking for vintage dresses and the one that they love the most may be their mothers dress! But, keep in mind that you could look into your aunts, cousins, and other family member’s dresses. You never know until you look into and try it on. Also, if you were to wear a dress from your families’ heirloom, it could be your “something old” on your wedding day. Many people that allow you to wear their dress for your wedding day will be so honored and thrilled to know that you are wearing a family heirloom, which will go on for many more years to come. Something else that you could do to the dress that you found from your family is making some alterations to it. Now, before you even start to think about changing it, ASK whomever you got the dress from if they wouldn’t mind if you could make alterations. This could be an awful situation if you cut it up and changed it without them knowing!
2. My next option for the brides to use when they are finding their wedding dress on a budget is for them to look at sale or discontinued dresses at bridal shops. Most bridal shops get wedding dresses in and use them as their sample dress for their customers to use for when they are trying on dresses. These dresses will eventually become discontinued, which means that they will no longer be able to order that dress from the designer because the designer doesn’t make that dress anymore. What will they do with this dress now? They are going to sell them!! If you don’t mind that your dress isn’t brand new from the magazine or trunk show, then this is perfect for brides on a budget. These dresses will be discounted at a lower price to make them fit in your budget, or even blow your mind away with how under your budget they end up being! Another thing to keep in mind though is that they dresses might have some flaws to them. Possibly a bead missing, dirty on the bottom, needs a new zipper, and etc. These things are not life or death situations though. When you are trying these on, ask the sales consultant if they can clean the dress for you, if the seamstress could add a bead where there is one missing and etc. These things that are from wear and tear are easy fixes if you can deal with what needs to be done with the dress.
3. The next option for brides is to do some online shopping. This can be very risky and time consuming, but if you know what you’re looking for, you can eventually find your perfect dress for a perfect price! Some of the online sellers don’t have to overhead price that you will see at the store and boutiques, which is why you can find dresses online for less expensive. A piece of advice that I feel could be very effective is that if you find the dress you want to buy at a store that you have tried on, why not look for it online for a cheaper price. More then likely, you will be able to find that dress somewhere online that will be discounted, so keep that in mind. It may be a new dress that is discounted or you could possibly find the dress you want and has been worn once before and the bride is trying to sell it. There are some brides that are looking for a distinct dress that will fit their needs, whether is be a modest dress, a dress for tall brides, or a specific dress that you know exactly what you want. There are many website that can help you; all you have to do is research a little. When you are purchasing a dress online, be sure to keep a couple things in mind. Find out what their return policy is, make sure that they are “fake” designer names, have they had any complaints (look for a comment box), and make sure what their shipping policy is.
4. The last option for brides on a budget is to completely get the “bridal gown” search out of your head. If you want a different dress then what most brides wear, then do whatever you want to do. Find a party dress that is appropriate at a local department store. Look at the bridesmaid dress and see what they have to offer, they might have a casual but elegant dress that could work for a wedding dress. Prom dresses can come in white also, and look just as amazing as wedding dresses and they could possibly be under your budget. These dress options can be up to half of the price that regular wedding dresses cost.
Finding a dress on a budget can be difficult and very time consuming like I have mentioned before. Just remember that once you finally find your dress that is in your budget, it will bring your wedding budget down which will end up making everyone happy.

Overall I think that some of this options are very useful, for example the first one. I’m in love with vintage style, so if I had a wedding I’d probably look first in my grandma’s/ aunt’s wardrobe!
There is nothing better than unique wedding dress, for sure. However, I’m curious what you think about other options I’ve posted above. Tell me your opinion in comments, please. Would be lovely to hear something from you!
PS. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your comments you’ve posted above my last article! That’s very motivating for me!

How to Dress for a First Job Interview on a Budget
Going on an interview for your first job is nerve wracking for many people. The first impression you make on an interviewer is crucial, so be sure to dress appropriately. Most college seniors who are beginning to interview have limited budgets for career clothing, but this does not have to be a problem. By thinking ahead and being creative, it can be fairly easy to dress for a first job interview on a small budget.
Things You‘ll Need:
- Dark colored suit
- White blouse or dress shirt

- Necktie (for men)
- Pantyhose (for women)
- Plain, dark socks (for men)
- Dark shoes
Instructions:
Dressing appropriately for your first job interview extends to accessories as well as clothing. A conservative approach is always better than dressing in the latest trends. Women should wear only one pair of earrings and men should not wear any. Keep makeup and fragrances to a minimum.
How to Dress Well as a Tall Girl
Instructions
1: Dress to Make Height Less Noticeable
- Wear skirts that are a medium length and have a slight flare. Showing too much leg makes you look taller and a long skirt or dress gives your body length.
- Appear shorter by wearing skirts and tops to give the appearance of a horizontal break line in your height. Tuck in your shirt or wear a wide belt over your top at the waist.
- Make your legs look shorter with low-rise pants or jeans.
-
Choose a style and size that has a little extra fabric but isn’t baggy.
-
Look shorter by wearing longer jackets and taking shoulder pads out of jackets and blouses.
or 2: Enjoy Your Height
-
Dress well in the latest fashion for tall girls. Wear layered separates in contrasting subtle colors.
- Enjoy wearing boots, leggings or ribbed knee-high socks with skirts.
-
Use design in your favor with patterns that have horizontal lines.
-
Walk comfortably in shoes with lower heels to appear shorter, but don’t deprive yourself of the style of a high heel. Choose shoes that you love and wear them with confidence.
- Compliment your outfit with a stylish purse. Consider a shorter strap rather than a shoulder bag with a long strap.
- Take pride in who you are and how you look. Hold your head up high, put your shoulders back and walk with dignity knowing you are tall and dress well.

Reasons You Should Consider Shopping for Cheap Clothes
Due to the change in the fashion industry, a large percentage of people think that the best way to look great and chic is by wearing expensive label clothes. However, this is far from the truth as there are several other cheap options at your disposal that will make you look superb and at a cheaper cost. What is more, there are several benefits associated with shopping for cheap clothes. For starters, the most important reason is the fact that they are cheap. To confirm this, it is advisable to draw up a chart for all your expenses. You will note that clothes and accessories make up for a large percentage of the expenses. By opting to buy cheap clothes, you get the opportunity to look superb and at the same time, save money.
Contrary to popular belief it is important to state that accessorizing the clothes is far more important than the brand of clothes worn. If you are able to pull this off, it will be difficult for people to note the brand name of the clothes as you end up looking chic. It is therefore more advisable to team up your clothes with jewelry that makes a more pronounced fashion statement.
By opting for cheap clothes, it is also easier to get more clothes at a considerably lower cost. In addition to this, this will also ensure that you don’t have to fret so much about frequently buying new clothes. More importantly, it is ideal to state that these clothes are of high quality and they will give you great service for your money and they will not fail in delivering the sense of fashion you are looking for.
There are several cloth brands that come with low end lines and as such, it is easy to find all manners of collection in these places. It is precisely for this reason that it is advisable to consider shopping from such stores in order to ensure that you get the best possible deals. This comes in handy especially for people who are brand conscious and do not want to go over the budget they have in mind while shopping. At the end of the day, it is important to note that clothes can only go so far to outline your personality and instead of spending so much shopping for the same, it is ideal to opt for cheaper options.
Noelleau’s Comments:
I think that this article is a perfect way to persuade you not to buy expensive clothes as you’re still doing. I resigned for that some time ago, and decided to buy mine in secondhand/charity shops or on the sales. Hope you find this article useful. Please, share your comments with me
